Yellow Boat Project.

This is my yellow boat project. The topic is DRUNK DRIVING. I wasn't going to do this topic at first. My original topic was abortion but i got stuck on how i would make it 3-D. This image is about the people who get injured/killed because of drunk driving. I used mirrors/glass to show the broken pieces of a car window and beer bottles. I drew the handicap sign to show what is the most important result when this happens. It wasn't really hard to make this but it is hard to think of a topic for a 3-D assignment.I liked and dislike this project. I felt, as if i didn't bring my point out as much but then i like how it looks. I think i did an okay job on this.

Emotional.

This is an emotional picture i took of patricia. The topic is suicide. i see pills in the background which adds more effect to the picture. I didn't want her eyes close for two reasons. One is because it looks like she would be sleeping and accidentally drops her pills and the second was ilike it when people die with their eyes open. i didn't like how the picture thurned out because it wasn't very emotional as i thoughtit wuld be, Also it doesn't really look like she's dead even though i made her lips look kind of dry. I took this picture with a point and shoot camera.

Deep Depth 

This is a shot i took of mac and patricia for my deep depth picture which has everything in focus. To get this shot I had to focus on patricia, but had to make sure that mac and the background was in focus. I really like how this picture turn out because i like the brightness of the background and the lighting on their faces. I found it a little easy to take this picture. I only had to take this twice. The first time it was blurry and the second time the lighting on their faces were to dark so i had to change he shutter speed. Overall i think this picture came out good. 

Panning. 

This is a panning shot i took of mac, ricardo, Patricia with jiane in the middle. I thought a birds eye view would best capture what's happening in the picture. I had jiane be in the middle to show that the others are moving behind her. It was kind of hard taking this shot because i had to make sure that i caught all the motion that was happening. I didn't like this picture as much because i felt that mac was way to blurry, but overall i thunk it's okay.  

Stop motion. 

For this shot i had to make sure that i take it at the right moment. I found it quite difficult taking this picture because it was either blurry, to dark, to bright, or i didn't take the picture at the right time. In this picture i had Ricardo and patricia jump, but i had ricardo jump a itttle higher. I liked how this picture came out because the motion actually looks stopped. The only thing i didn't like was it was blurry.  

 

      

Shallow Depth. 

This is my shallow depth of field shot. I had patricia and jiane stick out their hands so it looks like jiane trying to rescue patricia by grabbing her hand. I had  to make sure that their hands were blurry, but i didn't know what to focus on. I decided to focus on this branch. I really liked how this picture came out. This was probably the hardest one to do because i had to make sure that only the background was blurry and not the object i was focusing on.
